Stella Harris is a character appearing in the episode Death and the Divas of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders.
As a young woman in the 1960s, Stella was a fresh young ingenue who appeared in a scant handful of British horror films. When it came for her big Hollywood break, however, younger sister Diana seduced her producer and stole her role. Stella returned to her husband and daughter in Midsomer Langley and never made another film.
When Eve Lomax appeared and spoke to her about writing a book about her and her sister Diana Davenport, she was a first receptive, but as Eve's research pulled skeleton's from their closets, they had a falling out. When Eve turned up dead during the meeting of the Midsomer Langley Film Society's festival in Stella's honor, she numbered among the persons of interest in the murder inquiry.
