Lower Crosby is a fictional village appearing in the ITV drama Midsomer Murders. It is the setting for the episode The Ballad of Midsomer County.

The village lies on the aptly named Crosby Road. Where a phonebox is still in use as the area is a mobile signal blackspot. The village was the hometown of famed folk singer Johnny Carver, his apparent sucide twenty five years prior to the events of The Ballad of Midsomer County haunted the community.

The village had been the home of the Lower Crosby Folk Festival since at least 2005, the brainchild of Toby Winning who was a fan of Johnny Carver. Though Winning had decided to move the festival to London by the time of The Ballad of Midsomer County. This angered most of the community as the festival was a major source of income to the village.
