Bella Trace is a character appearing in the pilot episode "The Killings at Badger's Drift" of the ITV crime drama Midsomer Murders. Phyllis Cadell committed suicide after confessing to murdering her, but she actually was murdered by Katherine Lacey prior to the events shown in the episode. The cause of death was a shotgun blast to the chest.
She was briefly mentioned in "Death's Shadow" in a flashback, where Richard Bayly, Simon Fletcher, David Whitely and Ian Eastman accidently kill Felix Stephen Bryce. Before he died, Felix smashed Mrs. Trace's old greenhouse to prove himself to join their gang.
